French
French is one of
country in Europe. I want to go to French because there are many famous place
in French. First, Eiffle tower is icon of French. The first step people go to
French is go to Eiffle tower. Because of Eiffle tower very famous in the world,
so people interesting to go there. People said if you will go to French, you
must visit to Eiffle tower. Because if you do not go to the Eiffle tower, you
do not go to French. Eiffle tower build on 1887 as entryway to world exhibition
for celebrate French Revolution on 1899. Actually, Eiffle tower name origin
from person who build Eiffle tower. The name is Gustave Eiffle. He buy a patent
from two others engineer who design that tower. So he give that tower is Eiffle
same with his name. Actually, in the beginning Eiffle tower only permit
standing for 20 years. After that Eiffle tower will turn down. Because of
Eiffle tower has a function when WW1, Eiffle tower still permitted although the
license over until now.
The second, Arc de Triomphe or a
gate of victory is one of the famous monument in Paris. It also one of the big
arch in the history. The arch design by Jean Chalgrin and inspired with Arch of
Tius in Roma, Italy. The construction this arch finish on Lois Philippe era
between 1833 until 1866, after Napoleon expelled from French. On the arch,
there are many relief which describe Napoleon war. People also can 30 name in
the big war on French revolution in Arch de Triomphe. Meanwhile, there are list
victory of French during the history below the curvature. Inside curvature the
Arch de Triomphe we also can see the tomb unknown soldier on WW1. He died for
defend French on WW1. There is lantern which have eternal flame. The eternal
flame for remember the others soldier who died on WW1 and WWII. This eternal
flame lantern is the first in West Europe and East Europe. Since the earlier
flame outages. Inside the arch, we also use elevator to go to upside. There is
a small museum contains about history that arch.
The
third, Louvre museum is one of the biggest museum in the world and the famous
museum in French. In museum Louvre contain more than 380 thousand object. The
most famous work in the museum is Mona Lisa painting by Leonardo da Vinci. There are some place which tell the story about Moslem.
Such as there is Maria painting on the wall in the museum. In the picture,
Maria was wearing the head cover. In her head cover, there is words
"lailahailallah". I know that from 99 Cahaya Di Langit Eropa"
book. So I want to prove that information. There are 3 wings in the Louvre
museum, first, sully wing contains with painting, print and drawing collections
on the first floor. On the second floor there are Egyptian antiquities ancient.
On the ground floor, we can find the famous statue from Greek that is goddess
of love. There are the remains of the fort which become the origin Louvre
Museum on the lower ground floor. The second wing is Richelieu wing contain
with paintings from Europe began from the middle of century until 20th
century. The third wing is Denon Wing contain with Roman and Etruscan
antiquities collections, sculpture, and Islamic arts.
The fourth, Place de la Concorde located between
Tuileries and Champs Eliyees. Place de la Concorde design by Jacques Gabriel on
1755. There are two fountain in Place de la Concorde. That is La Fontaine des
Mers and Elevation of the Maritime. This fountain located on the north side and
south side Obelisk (one of feature in Place de la Concorde). La Fontaine
fountain located on the north side and dedicate for the river. Elevation of the
Maritime fountain located on the south side dedicate for the Seine River. Two
of the fountain domination with the green color and gold. There are lamps
vintage round that fountain. Its cause that fountain very beautiful. Place de
la Concorde sign with eight sculpture in every angle. This sculpture
representing eight sculpture in French. That is Bordeaux, Brest, Lillie, Lyon,
Marseille, Nantes, Rouen, and Strasbourg. There are many important building
around the Place de la Concorde and access to the tour places. There is the
French ministry building on the north side and Hotel de Crillon. There is
palace Palais Bourbon on the south side. There is Tuileries garden on the east
side. There is a famous street Champs Eliyees with Arc de Tromphe from a
distance and also we can see Eiffle tower.
The fifth, bridge locks love is one of romantic place
in Paris. Pont des Arts is a bridge for pedestrians. Located between landmark
in Paris. If people tie their locks love, their love will everlasting if they
write name or initial with their couple. Then they must throw away the lock to
the river. Pont des Arts popular as place of exhibition of art, picnic at
summer, studio for a painter, artist, and photographer. We also can visit the
other place from the bridge. Because the bridge connected some place. Such as Louvre
museum, institute de French, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Ile de la Cite island.
This bridge also often occurs on television and film. So there are five famous
place who I want to visit in French. Someday I want to visit that places with
my friends. Because I know if my friends also want to go to French. So I want
to share happiness with them. Then I want to visit French with my family. In
order to I can introduce the romantic country in the world with my family.
